PARK(PRomoting artists, redefining kulture) is a socially conscious organization that aspires to create opportunities for emerging artists and designers to share their work and sustain a profitable business.
MARKETING DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Marketing Director, I was responsible for all day-to-day marketing initiatives including continually improving the awareness of the organization, and events-specific communications and promotions using a multi-media strategy including: web, print, e-mail, and social media. I planned and executed all marketing strategies with the help of a small team and third-party vendors to successfully coordinate the launch of all campaign materials. During my term with PARK, I also took the initiative to lead and execute a full website re-design, a digital marketing communications platform that has been key for the growth of the organization.
WEBSITE RE-DESIGN
The original website was a small, out-dated, HTML based site that was unable to communicate the level of professionalism, quality and high-standards that PARK has to offer. As the lead on this project, I was able to turn the website into a fully functioning responsive platform that showcases the PARK brand and enables users to learn more about the organization. I worked with a third-party vendor to design and develop each of the pages, while I created the content, sourced assets and designed the user experience flow from page to page. Additionally, I ensured that SEO and analytics were put into place to optimize the performance of the new website.
FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGEMENT
As the Front of House Manager, I was responsible for managing and training the FOH team in all roles, as well as ensuring the team performs all duties with exceptional customer service. I was the point of contact for all FOH-related issues, concerns or questions, and was specialized in handling high-profile conflicts to maintain the integrity of the event and organizational partnerships. FOH duties include: guest registration, VIP guest seating, coat check services and ticket sales.
ORGANIZATIONAL INITIATIVES
Below is a list of internal initiatives that I led that positively impacted the organization:
-Weekly Director Meetings: these meetings were put in place to share PARK news and updates regularly with team directors and enable better communication and collaboration.
-Marketing Team Processes: marketing duties were documented and organized very well to ensure ease of training and handover to new team members.
-New Hire Welcome: new hires were introduced to the team in a fun and exciting way to enhance the PARK company culture and ensure that any new team member would feel welcome as a part of their on-boarding.
